Marriage contract of Shirin Jan, daughter of Mirza the tailor, and Ghulam‘ali, ghulam [servant/slave] of Haji ‘Abd Allah (son of Haji Kalb‘ali), dated July 23, 1858. The mahr is eight tumans plus one-sixth of a house in the Shams Abad neighborhood of Khuzan. A note declares that Haji ‘Abd Allah transferred the ownership of one-sixth of the house to Ghulam‘ali. On verso, dated August 24, 1866: Shirin Jan settled her mahr with Haji Muhammad Baqir Sultan, son of Haji Kalb‘ali from Khuzan, for forty rupees. Settlement between Nisa’ Baygum Jan, daughter of the late Fath‘ali, and her four great great-granddaughters, Mah Sultan, Fatimah, Gawhar (daughters of Lutf‘ali), and Khanum (daughter of Nasr Allah), exchanging one-third of a building for one hundred dinars and some wheat. She also settled one-twelfth of the same building with Nayib Muhammad Ibrahim, son of Haji Muhammad Baqir, and Mirza Muhammad, son of Haji ‘Abd Allah, in exchange for one hundred dinars and some wheat, on the condition that they spend five tumans of the monetary value of the property on the Mulla Muhsin mosque and the rest...

Sale document between Fatimah Baygum and her husband, 1918
Fatimah Baygum, daughter of Husayn and wife of Karbalayi Taqi from Khuzan, sells parts of a house in Shams Abad, which belonged to her according to her marriage contract, to ‘Abd al-Vahhab from Khuzan for fifteen tumans, and the settlement for detriment clause is one hundred dinars and some wheat. Karbalayi Taqi has signed this document.

Sale document, 1856
Sale settlement of Haji Muhammad Riza, son of Haji ‘Ali Naqi from Mubarakah. The property had been first transferred from the wife of the late Aqa Isma‘il to Aqa Muhammad Rabi‘, son of Mulla Muhammad Hasan and after a series of transactions, Haji Muhammad Riza became the last owner of the land.

Settlement between Baygum, Mirza Muhammad, and Mashhadi Asad Allah, 1911
After Nayib Ibrahim, son of Haji Muhammad Baqir from Khuzan, died without leaving a will, there was a problem handling the related ceremonies. So, Baygum, daughter of Nayib Ibrahim, transferred ninety tumans to Mirza Muhammad, son of the late Haji ‘Abd Allah, and his son, Mashhadi Asad Allah, in exchange for one hundred dinars and some wheat. The condition was that they spend this money, with approval of Karbalayi Yad Allah, son of the late Karbalayi Husayn, for ta‘ziyah and other ceremonies.

Settlement between Fatimah Nisa’ and Muhammad Hashim, 1901
Settlement, dated October 29, 1901, between Fatimah Nisa’, daughter of the late Baba Khan from Khuzan, and Muhammad Hashim, son of the late Haji ‘Abd Allah, exchanging some properties in Shams Abad for forty tumans. Fatimah Nisa’ then waived all of her rights for four tumans and some wheat. On verso: on April 4, 1921, ‘Abd Allah, son of the late Muhammad Hashim, settled this property with his uncle, Haj Asad Allah, to pay the costs of ta‘ziyah for the late Muhammad Hashim.

Settlement between Haji ‘Ali Asghar and Sakinah Baygum Khanum, 1874
Settlement, dated June 8, 1874, between Haji ‘Ali Asghar, son of Muhammad from Khuzan, and Sakinah Baygum Khanum, daughter of Mirza Haji Sayyid ‘Ali and wife of Akhund Mulla Abu al-Qasim, over one-twelfth of a house and a garden in Shams Abad of Khuzan. Another twelfth of this property belongs to Sakinah Khanum according to her marriage contract. Umm Kulsum Khanum, mother of Akhund Mulla Abu al-Qasim, owns one-twelfth of this property as well. On the verso, dated June 9, 1874: another settlement has determined the shares of Sakinah Baygum Khanum and Umm Kulsum Khanum.

Settlement between Khatun, daughter of ‘Ishq‘ali from Khuzan, and her husband Sultan Muhammad, son of Haji Kalb‘ali from Khuzan, exchanging some properties (a piece of land, a house, and a garden with its share of water) mentioned in her marriage contract, along with her share of the inheritance from a specific house and garden, and a piece of land inherited from her father for five tumans and a piece of land in Shams Abad from Sultan Muhammad. The fee for the detriment clause is one hundred dinars and some wheat.
